Schedule

The Agenda is:   (subject to change)

We gather on Monday afternoon of Quilt Camp – 5:30 pm begins with get-acquainted time. After visiting and eating dinner together, everyone is invited to share Show and Tell.

Classes on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday are from 9 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.   Lunch is provided – 12:00 – 1:00   Classes are again from 1:00 until 4:00.  And after 4:00 there will be some extra activities planned for some of the late afternoons and evenings. These are optional activities.  Dinner is at 6:00.

Friday morning has evolved to a time when we share projects, make plans for the next quilt camp and say good-bye to camp friends.

You may, of course, rotate to a different class each of the three days, or stay in classes two or three days.  It is your choice.

Instructors are available each day to answer questions and give assistance.  You may have only slight knowledge (or a lot!) about the topics in a class being offered, but there is always something new to share and learn.

You may return to the classroom and sew as late as you like each evening.  Arrow Rock is a very safe, no-crime village. The classrooms are in the School House shown below, which is no more than a few short blocks from your housing.

Classes are held here at the School House at 716 Main.

Eating & Fun

Most students arrive on Monday afternoon and get settled in their lodging.   After dinner together, we have the always popular “Show and Tell” where each student brings something she has made or purchased to tell us about.

We’ll take a break for lunch every day. Leave the cooking and cleaning to us – sew and enjoy your time at Quilt Camp.  Free water/colas and snacks will be provided throughout the morning and afternoon.

Arrow Rock Quilt Camp policy regarding visitors:   Visitors, such as children, friends, and husbands are welcome to join you for a meal during quilt camp (at their expense).
